The Dr. P. Phillips Institute for Research and Education in Real Estate was created to emphasize real estate as an area of academic focus and serve as an important resource for the community that builds special relationships with industry and community groups. Specifically, the Institute is chartered to:

  • Host professional conferences and seminars for real estate practitioners
  • Support UCF’s certificate and degree programs in real estate
  • Develop curriculum innovations and support scholarly research
  • Conduct research that meets the needs of the Florida real estate community as well as the national interest in areas such as land use, market forecasting, regulatory policy, urban economics, housing, free enterprise, private property rights, and other topics
  • Raise the awareness of UCF’s real estate programs, alumni, and faculty both locally and globally
