George Aguel is the President and CEO of the nation’s premier destination tourism organization, representing the most visited destination in the country. Aguel has more than 35 years of executive-level experience in sales/services/operations and marketing. Most recently he served as senior vice president of Global Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants at The Walt Disney Company, where he led worldwide management for the company’s corporate partnership agreements across all business units of the company throughout his 23 years with Disney. Aguel also served as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales and Services for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, General Manager of The Disney Institute, as well as leading the Disney Vacation Club, the company’s timeshare division. Prior to Disney, Aguel was Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Gaylord/Opryland in Nashville.
As President, Michael Alter is responsible for all planning and operations of The Alter Group, a national corporate real estate development firm. Affiliates include Alter+Care, a healthcare real estate development firm; Alter Asset Management, a property-management firm; EnTrust Realty Advisors, an MBE real estate investment bank, and EnTrust Tenant Advisors, an MBE tenant representation firm. Mr. Alter is also a Board member of Be The Change Inc., a non-profit dedicated to organizing campaigns to create opportunity, empower veterans and promote national service; a Trustee of Robert Morris University of Chicago and the Board Chair of LEAP Innovations, the new leading non-profit connecting innovation and education.
Randy Berridge has served as president of the Florida High Tech Corridor Council since its formation in 1996. Under his leadership, the Council’s primary technology-based economic development initiative, the Matching Grants Research Program, has leveraged its investment of more than $60 million in research funding on more than 1,400 projects with nearly 400 companies to create a direct and indirect economic impact of more than $1 billion in the 23 county Corridor region. The Corridor team has also partnered with economic development, chamber of commerce, governmental, career source, academic, entrepreneurial and community leaders to advance the region’s and the state’s high tech and innovation economy thru marketing, workforce and entrepreneurial programs.
K.C. Conway is a Sr. VP – Credit Risk Management, with responsibilities for REVAL (Real Estate Valuation and Environmental Services) and Market Intelligence. He has 30 years experience as an appraiser, underwriter, lender, credit officer and economist. Mr. Conway is also a frequent lecturer and speaker on CRE markets and valuation matters for government agencies, financial institutions, and private industry groups. Over the past 5 years he has addressed approximately 350 real estate industry conferences, including the Appraisal Institute, American Property Tax Council, Counselors of Real Estate, FDIC, FFIEC, IPT, NAHB, National Association of Realtors, NAIOP, SIOR, Society of CPAs, and ULI.
John Lazenby is the 2016 president of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA). He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and remains active in the university’s alumni association (he was inducted in the Alumni Hall of Fame in 2009). He is also a longtime volunteer with Florida Citrus Sports, and in 2010 earned its Volunteer of the Year Award for his work with at-risk students as a mentor in the organization’s Take Stock in Children program. John has been a REALTOR® for more than 20 years and has served in leadership roles for both ORRA and Florida REALTORS®. His service to ORRA includes stints on committees ranging from grievance (as chairman) to strategic planning and government relations. He is also a member of the board of trustees of ORRA’s charitable arm, the Florida Real Estate Foundation, and a REALTOR® Political Action Committee Major Donor.
Steven E. McCraney earned his degree from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, and has completed additional post graduate work at Harvard Business School and Duke University. Mr. McCraney is the President & CEO of McCraney Property Company (MPC), has offices in West Palm Beach, and Orlando, Florida. A self-made entrepreneur, he and his team have developed, own and managed more than 4,000,000 sq. ft. of Industrial/distribution and office-flex properties throughout Florida. Additionally, MPC has developed and operated more than 24 company-owned fuel properties within Florida. He is an active member of NAIOP’s National Board of Directors, and former President of NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, South Florida) and was awarded Developer of the Year for Central Florida in 2013, 2014, and again in 2016.
Congressman John L. Mica was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1992 to represent Florida’s 7th Congressional District which includes Orange, Seminole and Volusia Counties. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations in the Oversight and Government Reform Committee. As Chair of the Government Operations Subcommittee on the U.S. House’s chief investigative panel, his work will continue on cutting wasteful and duplicative programs and protecting taxpayers’ hard earned money.

Dr. Mueller is teaching investment, development and real estate capital markets (REIT & CMBS) courses. He chairs the school’s Appointment, Promotion & Tenure (APT) committee & is a member of Daniels College APT committee. The real estate program started in 1938 and offers undergraduate (BS) and graduate (MS & MBA) degrees in real estate and construction management (RECM), as well as an executive MS degree.
Rick Singh is the first state certified appraiser to ever be elected as the Orange County Florida Property Appraiser. Almost 20 years ago, Mr. Singh became a field appraiser for OCPA where he worked his way up through the ranks of the agency, and in 1999 he became a State-Certified Residential Appraiser. The hands-on experience he gained proved invaluable as he now oversees the operations and growth of this busy office. Mr. Singh is both a State-Certified Real Estate Broker and a State-Certified Residential Appraiser with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and his extensive experience in real estate, government and civic activities is a perfect fit for his duties as Orange County Property Appraiser. During his early years with OCPA, he assessed thousands of properties and defended the office’s position on assessments at the Value Adjustment Board.
Trip is Chief Investment Officer of Florida-based ZOM Holding, Inc. and affiliated companies. He has been involved in the acquisition, management, development and sale of U.S. real estate for the past 30 years. He joined ZOM in 1986 and has directed the acquisition and sale of ZOM real estate holdings totaling in excess of $2.1 billion. He directs ZOM’s capital management activities, including capital structuring, fund raising, dispositions and asset management. Stephens received a B.S. degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1979 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1982. He is an active member of the Florida Bar and a licensed Florida real estate broker.
