Welcome to the Dr. P. Phillips Institute for Research and Education in Real Estate at the University of Central Florida. Our mission is to connect the university and its students and alumni with the real estate industry and the world. We do this via our three primary activities.
1. Education – The Institute supports the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate which offers an undergraduate major and minor in Real Estate along with our premier graduate offering, the Professional Masters of Real Estate program.
2. Research – The Institute supports cutting edge scholarly research that routinely appears in the top real estate, finance, and economic journals and is often quoted in the mainstream press. We also produce an in-house series of publications geared for our industry audience, Real Estate Notes.
3. Industry Outreach – The Institute provides a bridge between academia and industry. The Institute organizes the UCF Real Estate Council, an invitation only group of leading industry members and firms that guides our students and programs. Additionally, the Institute hosts the Annual UCF Real Estate Conference, one of the most influential real estate events in the state.
We strive to serve our students, university, industry, and community as best possible. This would not be possible without the dedicated work of our staff and faculty, the support of industry leaders, and the generous financial support of our UCF Real Estate Council and our naming donor, the Dr. P. Phillips Foundation.
